TermDefinition
OPAC/Catalog online database of materials held by a library or group of libraries. Users search a library catalog mainly to locate books and other material available at a library.
Fiction reading material that is imaginary (not real).
Nonfiction reading material that is based on facts or real events or people.
Call Number a mark on the spine of a library book, or listed in the library's catalog, indicating the book's location in the library.
Dewey Decimal System a way to classify nonfiction books; ranges from 000s-900s.
Information Source Any person, place, or thing, that gives you information.
eBook a book publication made available in digital form, consisting of text, images, or both, read on the display of computers or other devices.
Media communication, including television, radio, and newspapers, that often reaches and impacts a large audience
Digital Media electronic devices and media platforms such as computers, cell phones, the Internet that allow users to create, communicate, and interact with one another or with the device or application itself
