| Certificate | An official document that proves you have successfully completed specific course contest He got a certificate to drive a forklift |
| Parttime - jobs | Requiring less than 35-40 hours a week, depending on the employer. She has a part-time job at walmart. |
| Education and training requirements | The instructional background and skills neeeded to qualify for employment There is a lot of education and training requirements to work in a factory. |
| Fringe benefits | Extras provided by employers (other than wages) There were lots of fringe benefits provided if they applied for this job. |
| full time job | Working at least 40 hours a week She has a full time job as a truck driver |
| Contract workers | Employees of an employment agency who work for other businesses on a temporary basis. There was a contract worker that came to pick up the concrete |
| Global economy | Worldwide financial management system The global economy got messed from a pandemic |
| Deduction | Amount of money taken from an employee's grass pay for taxes, insurance, and social security. There was a small deduction taken from all his paychecks |
| Job duty | A task one is expected to perform on the job His job duty was to move packages to a semi truck. |
| Job benefits | The extras an employer provide employees in addition to pay There aren't many job benefits for mcdonalds |
| Job qualifications | A special skill, knowledge, or ability that enables a person to perform a particular job. He didn't meet the job qualifications to be a railyard operator |
| Nontraditional occupation/career | A career in which one gender has 25 percent tor less of the total workers Warehouse worker is a nontraditional career for females. |
| Work scehdule | A set number of days or hours the employee is expected to work he has a 5 day 8 hour shift work scehdule. |
| Salary | Fixed amount of money earned, regardless of hours worked He got his salary even though he worked overtime that week |
| License | A permit to do a articular thing or allow an activity to take place He got a license to be around chemcials |
| Temporary job | Jobs that last for a limited period of time The job that Bob had was temporary |
| Piecemeal | Wages to be paid based on a quantity produced or number of repetition performed He got a piecemeal based on how many boxes he moved and scanned. |
| Wages | Payment for work, usually figured by the hour His wages at his previous job were too low for him to live off of. |
| Self employed/entrepreneur | A person who organizes, manages, and assures the risk of business seasonal job - A form of employment linked to specific periods of the year and sectors. He was self employed mowing lawns. |
