Science 3 major systems

QuestionAnswer
Describe the function of the liver The liver processes nutritional molecules, and produces bile that's used to break down fat
Describe the function of the gall bladder The gall bladder stores and releases bile into small intestine
Describe the function of the pancreas The pancreas produces pancreatic juice that's released into the small intestine that is broken down
What is peristalsis? Wave-like muscular contractions
What does bile do? Breaks down fats
What does chyme do? A thick liquid that is your food after it goes through your stomach.
