TermDefinition
credit What a student earns for completing passing a class. students receive 1 credit for Couse that lasts all year 1/2 credit for a semester long class.
course Another word for class.
diploma certificate that represents completion of a program of study.
Elective A Course that is not required but can be chosen by students if they are interested in the classes.
Graduation Requirements standards that must be met in order to receive a diploma.
Advanced placement classes accelerated and more challenging classes.
Freshman 9th grade year... How are you classified in high school.
Sophomore 10th grade year.
Junior 11th grade year.
senior 12th grade year.
prerequisite A course that is required before another course can be taken.
Smart Core- - Arkansas's college and career ready curriculum for high school students.
GPA Grading systems that represents that averages your grades to determine how well your performed in all your classes.
Transcript Complete representation of a students' academic record. (official grades).
