Credit What a student earns for completing/passing a class. students receive 1 credit for a course that lasts all, 1/2 credit for a semester long class
Course Another word for class
Diploma Certificate that represents completion of a program of study
Elective A course that is not required but can be chosen by students if they are interested in the class
Graduation Requirements Standards that must be met in order to receive a diploma
Freshmen 9th grade

Prerequisite a course that is required before another course can be taken
