metoprolol ( Lopressor) carvedilol ( Coreg) Oral, slows the heart rate which can also cause a more regular heart rhythm. Can cause dizziness, fatigue. Monitor BP and heart rate. Carvedilol should be taken with food to prevent orthostatic hypotension.
Oral Iron ferrous sulfate (Ferosul) ferrous gluconate ( Ferate) polysaccharide iron complex (Ferrex 150)
ferrous sulfate (Ferosul) ferrous gluconate ( Ferate) polysaccharide iron complex (Ferrex 150) Oral, Increases iron levels in the blood, which increases hemoglobin, the oxygen carrying substance in red blood cells.
ferrous sulfate (Ferosul) ferrous gluconate ( Ferate) polysaccharide iron complex (Ferrex 150) Can cause dose related constipation, nausea, and stomach upset. Dark stools are expected. Stool softners may help with constipation. Tea, coffee, milk, cereals, eggs and high fiber foods can decrease absorption.Vitamin C increases absorption

Vitamin K antagonist anticoagulant warfarin (Coumadin)
warfarin (Coumadin) Oral, Works against the effects of Vitamin K, reducing clot formation, Monitor closely for signs of bleeding
warfarin (Coumadin) Blood must tested regularly (usually finger stick) to ensure proper dosage. The test PT/INR, sometimes shortened to INR measures how quickly blood clots. Consistent level of foods Vit K rich in leafy greens. Many meds and supplments interact with warfarin
