| steep | to soak or be soaked in liquid in order to cleanse, soften, or extract a given property from. (We steep tea bags to make tea.) |
| content | satisfied, happy |
| preen | to smooth or clean feathers with a beak or bill |
| tedious | boring; long or dull |
| lure | something that tempts or attracts with the promise of pleasure or reward |
| leisurely | done without haste; unhurridly |
| offend | to cause angry resentment, or wounded feelings |
| bellows | an apparatus for directing a strong current of air, as for increasing the draft to a fire. |
| ventilate | to admit or force fresh air in to replace stale or noxious air |
| precaution | an action taken to protect against possible danger or failure |
| cache | amount of goods or valuables, especially when hidden or kept in a place that is hard to reach |
| cavort | to leap about, caper |
