Scenes acts are divided in different parts ex what happens splitted
Poetry one of three major types of literature. Most poems make use of highly concise. ex type of literature
Lyric poetry a highly musical verse that expresses the observation and feeling of single speaker ex. how single speaker feels
Narrative poetry is the story told in verse ex how itis told
Rhyme Scheme pattern of rhyme in poem ex. how much wood can a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood
Free verse poetry does not follow a set pattern ex. poem written and does not have to rhyme
Stanza a grouped set of lines in a poem, looks like a paragraph
Hyperpole is a figure of speech in which the truth is exaggerated for emphasis of human effects. ex. when you say I'm starving when you really hungry
Idiom an expression that has meaning that is different from individual words ex. butterflies in my stomach
Imagery descriptive words and phrases that recreate sensory experience for the reader. ex. if someone talk about food when you are hungry
Inference the act of process of reaching a conclusion about something from know facts or evidence. ex. to infer someone about something
