| Internal Abdominal Oblique | O: iliac crest and lateral half of the inguinal ligament I: lower 2 or 3 ribs and aponeurosis. Also TLF & Conjoint Tendon A: w/ external oblique Rotates trunk ipsilaterally Unilateral side bend & Bilateral trunk flexion I:Lower 7 ICN and T12 |
| Transverse Abdominus | O: subcostal margin, TLF, iliac crest & lat. 1/2 of inguinal ligament I: aponeurosis, which blends with the other aponeuroses at the semilunar line. Conjoint tendon. A: Stabilizes vertebral column I: Lower 7 ICN and SN T12 |
