mountebank a person who deceives others, especially in order to trick them out of their money; a charlatan.

senescence the condition or process of deterioration with age.
balustrade a railing supported by balusters, especially an ornamental parapet on a balcony, bridge, or terrace.
tessellated denoting or characterized by a pattern of repeated shapes, especially polygons, that fit together closely without gaps or overlaps.
peristyle a row of columns surrounding a space within a building such as a court or internal garden or edging a veranda or porch.
edification the instruction or improvement of a person morally or intellectually.
revile criticize in an abusive or angrily insulting manner.
cadaverous resembling a corpse in being very pale, thin, or bony.
droll curious or unusual in a way that provokes dry amusement.
indolence avoidance of activity or exertion; laziness.
