what are plate tectonics? the study of plates and their movements.
what are the 3 layers of the earth? The Crust,Mantle and The Core.
What layer is on top? The crust is on top.
What happens when plates collide? The heavier plate goes under the lighter plate.
What happens when plates slide? it causes a fault line or an earthquake.
What is the name of the ring of volcanos that go around the pacific ocean? The Ring Of Fire.
What is the name of the chamber in a volcano? Magma chamber.
What happens when magma leaves the volcano and meets oxygen? It turns to lava.
What are the 3 types of volcano? Active,Dorment and Extinct.
What Is a focus of an earthquake? The point beneath the ground where the earthquake happens.
Name the 2 scales to measure an earthquake? The Richter scale and The Magnitude scale.
