Define: Bursitis An inflammation of the bursae (fluid filled sac enclosing joints) most common in shoulders
Define: Osteoarthritis/ Dejenerative Joint Disease Noninflammatory joint disease classified by gradual deterioration of the articular cartilage with hypertrophic bone formation. Most common type of arthritis; common with aging.
Define: Osteoporosis Scanty and thin bony trabeculae caused by a reduction of bone or atrophy in skeletal tissue. Can occur in postmetopausal women and older men. Caused by low calcium intake over time.
