Regions of SD

TermDefinition
Central Region The land consists of the Missouri River in the middle with two different types of land on either side.
Central Region Region that the Missouri River runs through.
Eastern Region The land contains mostly lakes, hills, and fertile farmland.
Eastern Region Sometimes it is split into two separate regions.
Western Region Includes the Badlands and Black Hills.
Western Region The land has dry land, rocky formations, forests, mountains, and prairies.
