Unit 3 Vocab.

TermDefinition
Decision Making Process The choice between two or more possibilities. EX : I will use the decision making process to help me decide if I want to go to band next year.
Goals A objective that a person wants to obtain and works to achieve. EX: I have many goals in life.
Long Term Goal A goal that you expect to achieve in 5 or more years. EX: My long term goal is to finally finish the same book.
Medium Term Goal A goal that you expect to achieve in 2 to 5 years. EX: My medium term goal is to compete the book series.
Personal Values Personal standards by which one lives. EX: I have my own personal values.
Postsecondary Education or training following high school. EX: I did some postsecondary work before going to my new high school.
Resources Anything a person has or uses to reach a goal. EX: I have all the resources I need to go to school.
Short Term Goal A goal that you expect to achieve in 1 year or less. EX: My short term goal is to find a good job.
Tentative A decision or plan that can be changed. EX: My plan was tentative and I got through the test.
