Power Words Week 6

TermDefinition
essential adjective - necessary, important, crucial, required
beneficial adjective - helpful, able to benefit or help
associated adjective - connected in some way; occurring or arriving together
excerpt noun - a sample taken from a book, passage, video, play or other work of literature or film
obstacle noun - something that gets in the way of a desired action or outcome
to prevent verb - to keep something from happening before it occurs
principle noun - a rule of law; the underlying belief, ideal, or important thought
principal noun - the person who is the head of a school
ideal noun - the perfect example, the target to be reached
ideal noun - a belief that one wishes to live up to and attain
to vary verb - to be different from the normal, the average, or the ideal
non-essential adjective - not necessary, not important, not crucial or required
