Light

TermDefinition
Colors parts of light that are reflected from an object
Concave thinner in the middle than at the edges
Convex thicker in the middle than at the edges
Diffraction the bending and spreading of waves as they move around a barrier or through an opening
Lens a piece of glass or other clear material with curved sides
Light energy that we can see
Opaque cannot see through an object at all
Prism a clear object that reflects light as the light moves through
Rainbow shows the colors of white light
Reflection when light bounces off a medium
Refraction light moves through an object and bends
Spectrum range of colors in light
Translucent can see through an object but not clearly
Transparent can see through an object clearly
