industrial relations act 1990 The Act was introduced to improve industrial relations in Ireland and to help to resolve industrial relations disputes.
Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) An independent body that provides a range of industrial relations services to employers and employees.
Unfair Dismissals Act 1977-2015 To prevent employees being dismissed from the from their roles for unfair reasons.
Labor Court The court of last resort for industrial relations disputes.
Employment Equality Acts 1998-2015 Prohibits discrimination in the workplace.
Meeting and Talking Meeting is arranged between the employer and employees.
Negotiation Both parties meet and bargain with each other.
