Learn the terms from Motion, Force, Work and Power units
| Term | Definition |

| Speed | a rate of change of position |
| Velocity | describes both speed and direction of an object |
| Acceleration | the rate at which velocity changes |
| Momentum | the quantity of motion of a MOVING object |
| Gravity | a force of attraction between all objects |
| Work | the transfer of energy to an object by using a force that causes the object to move in the direction of the force. |
| Power | the amount of work done per unit of time |
| Terminal Velocity | the fastest speed a falling object achieves |
| Projectile Motion | any object being thrown or shot in the air |
| Simple Machine | a device that makes work easier |
| Friction | a force that opposes motion between two surfaces that are in contact |
| Efficiency | compares work output to work input |
| AMA (actual mechanical advantage) | accurate measure of the MA (of/if) |
| IMA (ideal mechanical advantage) | guess of the measure of the MA (depends on the machine) |
| Joule | the unit used for work |
| Watt | the unit used for power |
| Force x Distance | formula to calculate work |
| work/time | formula to calculate power |
