Digital Footprint | the information about a particular person that exists on the internet as a result of their online activity. |
Cookies | a packet of data sent by a web server to a browser, which is returned by the browser each time it subsequently accesses the same server, used to identify the user or track their access to the server. |
GeoLocation | the use of location technologies such as GPS or IP addresses to identify and track the whereabouts of connected electronic devices. |
MetaData | a set of data that describes and gives information about other data. |
Data | facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis. |
Spreadsheet | an electronic document in which data is arranged in the rows and columns of a grid and can be manipulated and used in calculations. |
Browser History | A record of the information browsed by a user on a computer; especially (in a web browser) a record of recently visited web pages, stored with associated data. |
Digital Literacy | having the skills you need to live, learn, and work in a society where communication and access to information is increasingly through digital technologies like internet platforms, social media, and mobile devices. |
Blog | a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style. |

Viral | an image, video, advertisement, etc., that is circulated rapidly on the internet. |
Profile | describe (a person or organization, especially a public figure) in a short article. |
Privacy Settings | a statement or legal document (in privacy law) that discloses some or all of the ways a party gathers, uses, discloses, and manages a customer or client's data. |
