| Chiropractic medicine | Manual manipulation of the joints and muscles |
| Complementary medicine | A range of medical therapies that fall beyond the scope of Western medicine. They are complementary to traditional medicine. |
| Diagnosis | A physicians recognition of a condition or disease based on its outward signs and symptoms and/or confirming tests or procedures |
| Herb | Any plant that is valued for its aromatic, medicinal, flavorful, or other properties |
| Homeopathy | A therapeutic belief that dilutions of medicinal substances that cause a specific symptom can treat an illness that yields the same symptoms. |
