Win-Lose You can not win unless other people lose.
Lose-Win When you're low on courage and high on consideration, and allow people to take advantage of you.
Lose-Lose Nobody else can win unless you win; revenge is your goal.
Win-Win The balance between courage and consideration. When you're ready to walk away before someone else does.
What is the key to making new friends? Deposit acts of kindness and helpfulness in their Emotional Bank Accounts.
What is to withdrawl? To be unkind, discourteous, and disrespectful.
Why is it important to find out what a deposit is for the other person? Your thought of a deposit may be a withdrawal for the other person.
What is a deposit that can create friendships, that is the opposite of withdrawal? Small acts of kindness.
Why must you be careful when you make a promise to a friend? It takes a long time to rebuild an Emotional Bank Account.
What is to keep confidences? Keeping whatever is shared between you and that person only.
What does it mean to be loyal to the absent ? Avoiding gossiping and backbiting.
What does it mean to set clear expectations? To follow through on what is expected.
How can you prevent a greater conflict? By apologizing and avoiding excuses.
Why is it healthy to forgive and forget? Forgiveness keeps you from hurting yourself the way you were hurt.
