Percepțiile procese psihice senzoriale complexe si, totodată, imagini primare, care conțin totalitatea informațiilor despre insușirile concrete ale obiectelor și fenomenelor
Cum apar percepțiile? în condițiile acțiunii directe a acestora asupra analizatorilor.
Imaginea perceptivă Este bogată în conținut, cuprinde atât însușiri semnificative, cât și pe cele mai puțin semnificative, de detaliu
Procesul perceptiv Antrenează mai mulți analizatori – este plurimodal
Detecția sesizarea și conștientizarea doar a prezenței stimulului, fără să se poată spune ceva despre el
Discriminarea detașarea stimulului de fond
Identificarea cuprinderea într-o singură imagine unitară a informațiilor, subiectul poate recunoaște ceea ce percepe
Interpretarea stabilirea semnificației obiectului perceput, a importanței lui pentru subiect.
Percepția spațiului formă, mărime, distanță
Percepția timpului trecut-prezent-viitor
Percepția mișcării mișcarea corpului
Percepția interpersonală însușirile, trăsăturile și conduitele personale.
Observația activitatea perceptivă intenționată, orientată spre un scop, reglată prin cunoștințe generale, organizată și condusă sistemic, conștient și voluntar.
Spiritul de observație aptitudinea de a sesiza cu ușurință ceea ce este relevant, deși nu apare în mod evident.
Funcție a percepției Ajută subiectul să înțeleagă realiatea înconjurătoare
Funcție a percepției Face posibilă interpretarea cât mai corectă a obiectelor, fenomenelor și elementelor de interes.
Funcție a percepției Detectează elementul din câmpul vizual, de care este interesat subiectul
Caracterizarea imaginii perceptive Reflectă obiectul în totalitatea însușirilor lui, unitar și integral
