Interdisciplinary Team Consist of a health care team from different disciplines, including pharmacy technicians, which is designed to provide care for the patients total needs.
Managed Care An organized health care delivery system designed to improve both the quality and accessibility of health care, including pharmaceutical care, while containing cost.
Medication Reconciliation The process of preparing a complete and accurate listing of patients medications and all related medical information such as allergies
Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) The development and management of broad and cost-efficient prescription drug benefits for a large group of patient populations.
Pharmacy Informatics Practice that includes the use of information technology designed to ensure optimal medication use.
Telepharmacy The provision of Pharmaceutical care to patients at a distance through the use of telecommunications and information Technologies.
