Closed door pharmacy A pharmacy in which medications are called in from institution, such as long-term care facilities, and are then delivered; closed-door pharmacies are not open to the public.
Hyperalimentation Parental (intravenous) nutrition for patients who are unable to eat solids or liquids; also known as total parenteral nutrition (TPN)
Nondiscretionary duties Tasks that do not require professional judgment such as repacking medications, managing inventory, filling automated dispensing machines, and billing.
