Similes A simile is a figure of speech that directly compares two things. Similes differ from metaphors by highlighting the similarities between two things using words such as "like", "as", or "than”
Volatile Unstable; tending or threating to become violent easily
Drag To pull something or someone forcefully and with difficulty
Fold To bend something over on itself so that one part of it is on top of another
Halt To come to a sudden quick stop
Kneel To go down and hold the body up on one or both knees
