AWP Average Wholesale Price represent the average price that a pharmaceutical company charges wholesalers wishing to purchase the product
BIN Bank Identificiation Number used to route claims to the correct insurance company
Copay out-of-pocket cost paid by the patient that is addition to the cost paid by the insurance company to provide the total reimbursement to the pharmacy for the drugs and services provided
Current Procedural Terminology Codes (C.P.T.) unique billing codes that are assigned to pharmacists in order to bill a payer for cognitive services
Mail- Order Pharmacy service available for patients that allows them to order a supply of their medications at a discounted price through the mail
Medicaid a program established in 1965 as a jointly funded, cooperative venture between the federal and state government to assist states in the provision of adequate medical care to eligible needy persons
Medicare health insurance for people age 65 or older, under 65 with certain disabilities and of any age with end-stage renal disease
Medicare Part A provides coverage of inpatient hospital services, skilled nursing facilities (not custodial or long-term care), home health services and blood and hospice care
