Xanax (alprazolam) Sedative - treats anxiety
Zantac (ranitidine) Antihistamine/ Antacid -treats heart burn/ ulcers
Cardizem (diltiazem) Antihypertensive drug/ Calcium channel blocker- treats high blood pressure and chest pain (angina)
Benadryl (diphenhydramine) Antihistamine - treats allergic reactions, motion sickness and symptoms of parkinson's disease.
Aricept (donepezil) Cognition enhancing med- treats Alzheimer's disease.
Lasix (furosemide) Diuretic - treats edema and swelling caused by congestive heart failure.
Dilaudid (hydromorphone) Narcotic - treats moderate to severe pain.
Digoxin (lanoxin) Antiarrhythmic/ - treats heart failure and heart rhythm problems.
Levaquin (levofloxacin) Antibiotic - treat infections
Pravachol (pravastatin) Statin - treats high cholesterol.
Lopressor (metoprolol) Beta blocker - high blood pressure, chest pain(angina) and heart failure.
Narcan (naloxone) - can treat narcotic overdose in an emergency situation.
Zofran (ondansetron) Antiemetic - prevent nausea and vomiting. *cancer patients*
Nitro-Dur (nitroglycerin) vasodilator - treat chest pain (angina)
Dilantin (phenytoin) Anticonvulsant - treat and prevent seizures.
Colace (docusate sodium) Stool softener - treat or prevent occasional constipation.
Aspirin (salicylate) Anti-inflammatory drug/ Blood Thinner - treats pain, headache, fever, and inflammation. It can also reduce risk of heart attack.
Sodium Chloride Salt - can treat or prevent sodium loss caused by dehydration, excessive sweating.
Prednisone Steroid - treats arthritis, blood disorders, breathing disorders, severe allergies.
Coumadin (warfarin) Blood Thinner - treat and prevent blood clots. * cardiac patients*
