Neuroscience Vocab

TermDefinition
Materialism The idea that our mental life emerges from our physical brain.
Cellbody sums up the plus's and minus's from the dendrites.
Dendrites Receives signals from other neurons. (Excititory (+) and Inhibitory (-)).
Myelin Sheath Insulation on a wire.
Sensory Neurons Take in information from the environment and external world.
Motor Neurons Comes from the brain out to your motor control.
Interneurons Connects different neurons without making contact to the external world, either through sensation or motor action.
