B1 thiamine; carbohydrate metabolism
B2 riboflavin; macronutrient metabolism
B3 nicotinic acid; lipid metabolism
B5 pantothenic acid; it's necessary for making blood cells, and it helps you convert the food you eat into energy
B6 pyridoxine; amino acid metabolism; important to keep our brains and nervous system functioning; *your body cannot produce vitamin B6, so you must obtain it from foods or supplements
B9 folic acid; red blood cell formation
B12 cyanocobalamin; also involved in the formation of red blood cells
biotin also known as vitamin H; your body needs biotin to help convert certain nutrients into energy, also plays an important role in the health of your hair, skin, and nails.
Vitamin C ascorbic acid; is necessary for the growth, development and repair of all body tissues - prevents scurvy, promotes wound healing, and anti-inflammatory ability
