Science Vocabulary

mimicry when animals resemble poisonous or harmful animals
camouflage a behavior or process designed to hide an organism
herd a name given to a group of animals such as zebra and elephants
pod the name given to a group of killer whales living together
pack the name given to a group of wolves living together
adaptation an adjustment in behavior or structure to help organisms survive in an environment
structure the arrangement, shape, and organization of parts of an organism (Example: beak, teeth, tail)
process an action that results in a change
interaction the action or influence of organisms on one another
