What is a motor? A device that uses magnetism and electricity to make motion
What is a generator? A device that uses magnets and motion to make electricity
Parts of an electromagnet? Coil of wire, battery, & iron core
Uses of motors Cars, power tools, etc.
Uses of electromagnets Doorbells, cranes, & speaker
Use of generator Make electricity
Advantage of electromagnets Turn on and off, reverse poles, change strength
