What is a Group? Each vertical column of elements on the periodic table.
What is a Row also called? A period
How many periods are there in the periodic table of elments? 7
What is periodic? something that is happening through regular intervals.
What does the periodic law State?
What is an alkali metal? Group name of the elements in group 1 of the Periodic Table, they are the most reactive metals
What is an alkaline-earth metal? Group name of the elements in group 2 of the Periodic Table; they are less reactive then the alkali metals.
Whatr is a Halogen? Group name of the elements in group 17 of the Periodic Table,they combine with most metals to form salts.
What is a noble gas? Group name of the elements in group 18 of the Periodic Table, they are unreactive non-metals
