Pen VK drug class: antibiotic penicillin v potassium sub class: penicillin
penicillin v potassium indications: treats infections, most commonly used for strep and staph infection and pneumonia
Pen VK special note: People who are allergic to Penicillin's have a 10% chance of being allergic to Cepholosporin's
Folvite drug class: vitamin folic acid treats folic acid deficiency and certain types of anemia (lack of red blood cells)
Topamax drug class: anticonvulsant topiramate treats seizures
Aldactone drug class: diuretic spironolactone sub class: potassium sparing diuretic treats heart failure, high blood pressure and hypokalemia (low potassium levels in blood)
Aldactone Special Note: can cause hyperkalemia when taken with "Ace inhibitors" generic : spironolactone
Viagra drug class: phosphodiesterase inhibitor sildenafil treats erectile dysfunction in men Special note** DO NOT TAKE WITH NITRATES**
Benadryl drug class: antihistamine diphenhydramine treats allergies in addition to : sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, hives, skin rash, & itching
Symbicort drug class: steroid & bronchodilator budesonide & formoterol used to prevent bronchospasm in people with asthma or COPD
