vibrations how sounds are produced
frequency the number of vibrations created
volume how loud or soft a sound is
echoes when sound waves bounce off a hard surface
pitch how high or low a sound is
sound a kind of energy that travels in waves that you hear
wavelength the distance between one crest or trough to the next
amplitude the distance between the resting point and a crest or trough
resting point halfway between a crst and a trough
trough each low point of a sound
crest each high point of a sound wave
