| Acceleration | An increase in rate of change. |
| Displacement | The act of moving something from its natural environment. |
| Speed | A rate at which something happens. |
| Mass | The property of a body that causes it to have weight. |
| Inertia | The tendency of something to stay in rest or motion. |
| Average Speed | Total distance x total time. |
| Momentum | The product of a body's mass and its velocity. |
| Velocity | Distance traveled per unit time. |
| Newtons 3 Laws | Three physical laws that, together, laid the foundation for classical mechanics. |
| Newtons 1st Law | A body remains at rest or in motion with a constant velocity unless acted upon by an external force. |
| Newtons 2nd Law | The rate of change of momentum is proportional to the imposed force and goes in the direction of the force. |
