TermDefinition
Discrimination Unfair treatment of a person or group on the basis of prejudice.
Wages A fixed regular payment, typically paid on a daily or weekly basis, made by an employer to an employee, especially to a manual or unskilled worker.
Persuade To compel someone to adopt a certain position, belief, or course of action through reasoning or argument.
Labor Union An organization of workers dedicated to protecting members' interests and improving working conditions for all.
Catalyst An event or person causing a change.
Hazardous Involving risk or danger.
Harassment The act of tormenting another by using aggressive pressure or intimidation.
Working Conditions The environment in the workplace and all existing circumstances affecting labor in the workplace (hours, pay, rights, etc.)
Interact An act or action that has an effect on another.
Relevant Closely connected or appropriate to what is being done or considered.
