Magnet any material which attracts other materials through invisible force fields caused by the motion of unpaired electrons
Magnetic Fields he invisible field around a magnet consisting of lines of force which form closed loops and are concentrated at the poles.
Magnetic Pole one of the ends of a magnet or electromagnet.
Motor a device which converts electrical energy into mechanical energy usually through the rotation of an electromagnet in the field of stationary magnets.
North Pole one of the two ends of a magnet or electromagnet; the end from which the lines of force emerge.
Polarity the arrangement of poles within a magnetic substance.
Repel to push objects away from one another such as like poles of magnets or electromagnets.
