Electromagnetic field the force field surrounding an electromagnet. The lines of force are closed loops, concentrated at the poles of the electromagnet.
Electromagnetism forces which develop from the movement of electrical charges.
Energy the capacity for doing work and overcoming resistance.
Ferromagnetic materials containing iron, cobalt, or nickel which are magnetic or can be magnetized.
Force Field an invisible field of energy surrounding an object such as a magnet or electromagnet.
Generator a device used to produce electricity, generally involving an energy source such as falling water or steam, which is used to turn a coil of wires through a strong magnetic field.
Insulation a covering made from nonconducting material used to prevent short circuits or shocks from electricity.
