| anagram | a word or phrase formed from another word or phrase by changing the order of the letters |
| noncommittal | not committing to any one position or course of action; not revealing one’s purpose or position |
| connotation | the suggested, or implied, meaning of a word, not its strict literal meaning |
| reiterate | to restate; to repeat |
| embellish | to decorate or adorn; to improve a story by adding details, even false ones |
| imbibe | to drink; to drink in or absorb |
| novice | an inexperienced person; a beginner |
| anecdote | a brief, entertaining account of an interesting incident |
| stigma | a mark of shame; a stain; the part of a flower that gets germinated |
