cefixime oral suspension oral ped: 8 mg/kg/day adult: 400 mg a day
cefotetan injection IM, IV 500 mg-3g every 12 hrs
cefoxitin injection IV 1-2 g every 6-8 hours given prior to or during surgery
cefuroxime tablet, oral suspension, injection oral, IM, IV po: ped: 20-30 mg/kg/day twice a day adult: 250-1000 mg twice a day 750mg-1.5g every 8 hours
cefditoren tablet oral 200-400 mg twice a day
cefotaxime injection IM, IV IM: 0.5g- 1g single dose /IV: 1-2 g every 4-12 hours
ceftazidime injection IM, IV pediatric:
ceftibuten capsule, oral suspension oral
ceftriaxone injection IM, IV
cefepime injection IV
cefazolin injection IM, IV 250 mg- 1g taken every 6, 8 or 12 hours also given prior to surgical procedures
cephalexin tablet, capsule, oral suspension oral pediatric: 25-50 mg/kg/day in divided doses adult: 250-750 mg every 6 hours
