What are Antiarrthymic drugs used for? A Fib, V tach, and PVC.
Beta Blockers Decrease HR and control, Decrease excitability. Watch diabetes.
Calcium channel blockers Decrease HR, slows conduction through SA/AV node.
Adverse reactions of Antiarrthymic drugs Lightheadedness, weak, decrease BP, decrease HR, nausea, and hypotension.
Nursing Interventions *Assess VS *EKG *Apical Pulse Hold if <60 or >120. *NO grapefruit w/ calcium channel blockers.
