| mentor | an experienced person who gives someone else advice |

| loan | an agreement to borrow money and pay it back |
| looming | threatening harm in the near future |
| liability | money that a person or company owes |
| investor | a person who gives money to a company and hopes to profit |
| insurance | a system of regular payments for when something bad happens |
| immense | very large or great |
| grants | money provided by an organization or government that does not need to be repaid |
| frantically | in a rushed and out of control manner |
| entrepreneur | a person who starts a new business |
| eponymous | named after a person involved |
| dual-enrollment | counting for both high school and college credit |
| exasperation | annoyance with someone who keeps doing things to upset you |
| asset | something a person owns that is worth money |
| budget | a plan for how to spend money |
| debt | money that a person owes |
| dignity | the quality that makes a person feel worthy of respect |
