Bile Acid Resin Bind to fat and excreted in feces.
Bile Acid Resin Meds Welchol.
Adverse Reactions to Antihyperlipidemics Meds Abd. pain, Cramping, Constipation. Hyperglycemia in non-diabetics. Rhabdomylosis- Muscle pain.
Nursing Interventions Monitor Cholesterol (Fasting). Assess Diet - Decrease cholesterol. Assess: Constipation, abd. pain. Vit. deficiency - Bile acid Increase Vit K+ for bleeding - Dark green leafy veg.
What is the "Good" cholesterol? HDL = >60
What is the "Bad" cholesterol? LDL= <100
