| Nursing Interventions | Assess : lung sounds, edema, wt, labs. Decrease K+ makes the heart sensitive to digoxin. Check Apical pulse; Hold if <60, or >100. Draw digoxin level: Immediately before the dose is due or 6-8 hrs after administration. No stopping abruptly. |
