Abnormal Behavior (Somatic Symptoms and Related Disorders)

TermDefinition
Somatic Symptom Disorder (SSD) physical symptoms (including pain and high anxiety) about having a disease for 6 months
Illness Anxiety Disorder (IAD) a preoccupation with a serious medical/health condition with neither no or mild physical symptoms (for 6 months)
Conversion Disorder neurologic symptom disorder; loss of some bodily function without physical damage to the affected organs/neural connected
