Abnormal Behavior (Anxiety Disorders)

| Anxiety | a feeling of impending doom/disaster from a specific/unknown sources |
| Anxiety: Mood Symptoms | tension agitation; apprehension |
| Anxiety: Bodily Symptoms | Sweating; muscular tension; increased heart rate/blood pressure |
| Anxiety: Cognitive Symptoms | Worry; rumination; distractibility |
| Generalized Anxiety Disorder | persistent, pervasive feeling of doom for at least six months; not associated with a particular object/situation |
| Panic Disorder | unpredictable attacks of acute anxiety accompanied by high levels of physiological arousal (few sec - few hr) |
| Phobia | irrational fear of specific objects/situations |
| Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) | result (anxiety/fear) caused by some trauma experienced by the victim |
