Abnormal Behavior (Anxiety Disorders)

Anxiety a feeling of impending doom/disaster from a specific/unknown sources
Anxiety: Mood Symptoms tension agitation; apprehension
Anxiety: Bodily Symptoms Sweating; muscular tension; increased heart rate/blood pressure
Anxiety: Cognitive Symptoms Worry; rumination; distractibility
Generalized Anxiety Disorder persistent, pervasive feeling of doom for at least six months; not associated with a particular object/situation
Panic Disorder unpredictable attacks of acute anxiety accompanied by high levels of physiological arousal (few sec - few hr)
Phobia irrational fear of specific objects/situations
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) result (anxiety/fear) caused by some trauma experienced by the victim
