Words of the week abasement through truculent

abasement (noun) the act of lowering in rank, position, or esteem
bifurcate (verb)to split into two pieces

dogmatic (adj) one-sided/not willing to change mind or opinion
expedient (adj) an easier way to do something

juxtapose (verb) to place side by side in order to point out the similarities or differences
kleptomaniac (noun) a person obsessed with stealing
laxity (noun) the act of being careless or neglectful
misdemeanor (noun) a crime that is less serious than a felony
nonconformity (noun) the act of going against the popular ideas or beliefs
ostracize (verb) to purposely leave someone out of a group
quixotic (adj) not logical; doesn't make sense
paradox (noun) a situation or idea that seems impossible but turns out to be true
