Digital Literacy The ability to effectively and safely use technology for research, education, and communication.
Digital Environment All communication, information, and sources connected by the internet.
Digital Footprint The information you leave online whether intentionally or accidentally.
Digital Natives This refers to the current generation of school aged children that grew up submersed in technology.
Digital Immigrants Adults that did not grow up surrounded by education. They had to learn about it as adults.
Digital Citizen Anybody who uses online sources for work, entertainment, and communication
Media Literacy The ability to effectively use locate, understand, and apply online and print documents.
Collaborative World People are interconnected and work together via online communication.
Instructional Technology Resources and tools used to enhance education in the classroom.
