What is the main cause of outward migration in the west The main cause is a lack of third level colleges and universities. The west only has one university and two institutes of technology, Meaning that many students attend colleges in the south and east.
What is the brain drain? The outward migration of young people from the west is known as "brain drain" as the region its most educated and skilled people
