Light Engry

TermDefinition
Medium a material or object such as a solid, liquid or gas
Opaque a material that does not allow ANY light to pass through
Absorb when light "soaks into" an object
Transmit When light "passes through" an object
Translucent a material that allows some light to pass, but scatters the light
Reflect when light "bounces off" an object
light Travels in straight lines in all directions
Refract when light "bends" as it moves from one medium to another
Transparent a material that allows all light to pass through clearly
